Picture 4 to 8 - This temple is called "Nan Pu Tuo Si". It is called south Pu Tuo because it originates from Mt Pu Tuo. Since Xiamen is in the south, hence labelled "Nan Pu Tuo Si". It is very old, having a history of 1200 years. No joke k. It only loses out by 100 years to "Kai Yuan Si" in Quanzhou. I think it is a must see place in Xiamen.
Picture 8 - Many people see this as a wishing rock. To enable your wishes to come true, you have to toss a coin up and make sure the coin stays on the rock. But the difficult part is that the coin bounces off very easily. But the tour guide taught me a method......throw the coin like a frisby, so it would not bounce off so easily.....I had 2 successful attempts. So next time if any of you go there, can use this "secret method" la hor.....:) [actually just simple physics la]
