Japan - Hiroshima

Hiroshima City - It is difficult to imagine that a city which was a victim of atomic bomb can become so developed.

Atomic Bomb Dome - This is the only building in Hiroshima which survived the atomic blast during WWII. It could survive because the atomic bomb exploded about 900 metres above it. In other words, this building is in the position of the epicentre of the explosion. The explosion force is outwards in a ring. Hence, this building suffered the least damage.

"Porno" public phone booth - This public phone booth is pasted fully with advertisments in its interior. These are actually advertisments for massage and prostitutes. This was such a unique sight to me when I first saw. I was stunned. What an eye opener!!!

Hiroshima Castle (Sakura) - This is a castle left behind by samurai. It is one of the most in tact in Japan I guess. The architecture is very different from China's Forbidden City. Later you would be able to see. April would be the best month to view sakura. They would be light pink and blossoming at that time.
